Keto Chili

  • 2 lbs Ground beef

  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 28 oz Can Crushed Tomatoes
  • 1 Can Rotel Tomatoes
  • 2 Cups Beef Bone Broth

I use a 3 quart Pot.

I used Bacon grease to saute my onions. You could use butter, ghee, tallow, etc

Saute onions for a couple of minutes then add ground beef and brown.

Drain fat.

Add all spices and stir into beef.

Add liquids and simmer for about 20-30 minutes.

  1. I am new to the Keto Lifestyle and made your Chili last night. IT WAS AMAZING!! I am so glad it makes a large batch as I plan on eating it for lunches this week!
Thanks for such an inspiring, down to earth channel and blog. I love that your menu ideas are simple yet look delicious. I have tried many of the meals you have posted in your January reset and it is helping me stay on track without having to do too much thinking or research.

  2. Thank you, Paula, for your Chili recipe! Question! In watching your video making this, you said to use 1 tsp. of Xanthan Gum as a thickening agent towards the end of making the chili. I do not find that instruction in your list of ingredients or directions… only your video. Perhaps others may have the same questions as I.

  3. REALLY good chili. My husband (who is not keto) doesn’t always like keto recipes, but he agreed that this is one of the best. That is saying quite a bit considering he prides himself on HIS chili recipe. (I did divide the finished chili into 2 pots so that I could add a can of kidney beans to his.). Thanks Paula.
