These are a very spicy appetizer or side that is perfect for the 4th of July!
Ingredients:
- 4 large Jalapeños cut in half, seeds removed
- 8 oz softened cream cheese
- 1/4 cup shredded pepper Jack cheese
- 1/2 cup smoked pulled pork chopped into small pieces (any cooked meats can be used, chicken, burger, sausage, etc.
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked salt
- Hot sauce to taste
- 8 slices bacon
Mix cream cheese, pepper jack, meat, garlic, salt and hot sauce together in a small bowl. Scoop mixture into each jalapeño half. Wrap in bacon. Bake in oven or air fryer at 375 for 20-24 minutes.
A non-spicy version could be made using sweet peppers, cheddar cheese and eliminate hot sauce.

We made these with the peppers from our garden tonight and loved them! Thanks so much for the recipe Paula!
