Jalapeño Popper Meatloaf

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, mix ground beef, egg, 1 tsp garlic powder, salt and jalapeños until well mixed. Divide in half. Form 1/2 of mixture into a loaf with a well in the center. In a small mixing bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar and garlic powder together and spread in the middle of the loaf well that you created. Next, top with remaining meatloaf mixture and seal edges all around. Lay bacon strips along the top of the meatloaf and press in edges. Bake for about an hour or until internal temperature reaches 160 degrees. Remove from oven and let sit for 10 minutes before serving.
