Brown Butter Bites

image_print

These butter bites are perfect for when you need a little something to get you over a snack attack. They are pure butter and make the perfect fat bomb. They are rich tasting, so you won’t overeat them like some keto treats.

Start by slowly melting butter in a skillet. I used two sticks of butter and a pinch of salt. Slow is key! If you heat too high, too fast, the butter will burn and not taste good.

After a few minutes, a foam will appear on top of the butter. Keep stirring periodically. You will see the golden brown butter starting to appear underneath the foam.

After about 15 minutes, I scooped out the butter and poured it into silicone molds. I used a baking sheet under the molds for support.

I purchased my molds here: https://amzn.to/3k89uMh

I placed the molds in the refrigerator for an hour.

Store in refrigerator.

You added vanilla and a sweetner or flavor. Can you tell me how much and did you stir it in while it’s cooking or at the end? Thanks Paula

  2. The English toffee sounds great!

  3. This is my second time making brown butter bites! I was more patient and browned the butter longer. Added a sprinkle of salt and stevia English toffee drops! Yummy so good!!! I will have to be careful not to eat to many.

Do they naturally get that dark top, or do you dip them in something?

  7. You can use either. I used unsalted but added salt

  8. Salted or unsalted butter?
