Keto Baked Brie W/ Caramelized Onions & Bacon

This is a warm gooey delicious appetizer or it also makes a great side dish!


  • Brie Cheese
  • 1 large onion, peeled and sliced
  • 4-6 slices of bacon chopped into small pieces
  • 2 Tbsp Keto Approved Brown Sugar (I use Truvia)
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • A Pinch of Salt

First melt butter in a skillet.

Add onions, bacon and a pinch of salt. Sauté slowly until onions are caramelized.

Once onions are caramelized, add 2 Tbsp of keto brown sugar.

Stir until keto brown sugar is dissolved.

Meanwhile, remove paper wrapper from the Brie. Cut through the rind about half way through into sections. I chose pie shapes.

Place Brie on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 15-20 minutes, until cheese is melted inside.

Remove from oven and top with onions and bacon. Serve warm. I like to serve mine with PMSF bread. See how to make bread here>>>
