I’m suddenly obsessed with Dollar Tree Crafts! It’s so crazy how you can make such cute crafts with dollar store items! I made this kitchen sink organizer for dish soap, sponges, scrubbie’s, etc.
I started with this galvanized planter from Dollar Tree. I spray painted it and let dry overnight. I used an antique white.

The next day I sanded it here and there to give it a worn look. The letters are raised so it’s perfect for sanding across to reveal them.
I then used a truffle brown chalk paint and a very thin paint brush to make swipes to look like it has aged. I went a little heavy in some spots so I sanded them off a little. It’s a very forgiving project.
I added some flowers and here ya go! So cute and functional.

Can’t wait for my next project!
